it is currently S E P T E M B E R at Lotus Institute.
With the leaves on the trees starting to turn and falling down all around the campus, the new semester has begun. Old students are returning to the grounds and new ones are being enrolled and arriving for the first time. The bells of Lotus Institute ring in their deep voices during the afternoon hours, welcoming it's scholars to the island. Down in the city of Kotu, the harbor is full of ships bringing new student to the island. The town itself is full of activity and energy, the fall being one of their busiest times of year.
In just a month it will be time to turn attention to the election of the student council, the organization of clubs, and numerous other events! For now, the most important thing for students to worry about it settling in and choosing their classes.
