"Welcome to Advanced Spirit Summoning!" A bubbly female instructor, looking to be in her early thirties, greeted excitedly as the bell rang out and the students took their sit. "I trust you all had an excellent summer vacation?" A murmur broke out among the students, some excitedly, some flippantly. Almost immediately, the classroom degenerated into clusters of conversations and giggling girls, all too eager to share their summer stories.

Near the center of the room, where the most popular girls typically sat, Sophia stared off into space.

"So yeah, my daddy took us on a Caribbean cruise; it was simply stellar! And then we went to..." Lexi chatted animatedly, her hand gestures emphasizing her words.

"You are so lucky! I was stuck in summer school for like half of summer, but then I met this gorgeous guy in Italy, and he was..." Another girl whom Sophia didn't recognize picked up the conversation, and frankly, Sophia really could have cared less about the girl's romantic escapades.

"So, Sophie darling, how was your summer?" Noticing her friend's uncharacteristic silence, Lexi nudged the Crafter lightly.

"Nothing major," she responded nonchalantly, brushing back a strand of silky black hair. "Daddy sent me on another one of those Grand Tours, a custom I swear should have died out by the 1800s." A roll of her silver eyes accentuated her exasperated words, her upper-class British accent making the European tradition even more legit. "Although, I would admit that the Louvre had some nice paintings, even if the more contemporary pieces reminded me of my kid cousin's scribbles. On the bright side though, daddy bought me a silver Porsche Carrera GT, after I crushed my Jag." She continued in the same even tone, as if the $484,000 convertible was no big deal.

"Lucky!" Came the collective response of several girls around her, to which Sophia simply shrugged. To be honest, she was getting bored of this little discussion, which is sadly lacking in depth, but her proper upbringing prevented her from yawning out of boredom.

Fortunately for her, the teacher cut the chatters short. "Ok class," she said, her bubbly voice raising above the girls, "as much as I understand your sentiments of seeing your friends again, it's time for us to get started." And true to it being an advanced course, the murmurs died down after a few attempts.

Being the model student that she is, Sophia immediately took out a notebook and her favorite vintage fountain pen, eyes glued to the teacher. But the instructor had other thoughts in mind.

"Since this is our first lesson together, I would like you all to introduce yourselves and your Spirit Animals. We'll do this by sitting order." She explained, before gesturing toward the first student on the right. "Please stand up and summon your default animus. There's plenty of room to your right."

Kaitlyn let the commotion of the other students wash over her as she waited for class to start. She stayed silent, reading over a textbook, inwardly relieved when the teacher finally started class. Too bad the first comments given got the class going again. Honestly, weren't they all here to learn? Who cared about summer vacation except for the fact that there were less people on the island?

When the teacher finally managed to get control again, it was only to start the old "summon your Animus" thing again. And wasn't it just her luck to be the first one called? Keeping a bored expression on her face, she stood and turned to face the class. Some of these girls probably haven't seen Asmodeus yet. The idea thrilled her. Even if it was just cringing in replusition, the reactions to her Animus were great. If people were scared of Asmodeus, they wouldn't want to steal him.

Allowing herself a small smirk she said, "This is Asmodeus." A smokey haze wrapped around her arms and shoulders, trailing towards the ground and wrapping around one leg. The smoke took form rather suddenly, and the long copper snake with small, feathery wings hissed angerily at the class before nuzzling against Kait's cheek. The small gasps and pale faces from a few in the class made her happy. Too bad the older I get the more people are used to seeing him...

Another round of ice-breaking? Sophia barely suppressed a sigh. That's the beginning of school through and through, and honestly, she's getting so tired of introducing herself that she could scream. But luckily for the other students, her years of etiquette training managed to restrain her enough that all she did was look upon the first (un)lucky student with polite boredom.

Surprisingly to her, that student's face reflected her own ennui. Until the girl smirked anyway. Sophia didn't like that look at all; every time she has seen it on someone's face...

With a wince, Sophia glared at at her friend, whose nails dug painfully into her arm. The friend in question stared immobile at the Animus, whose appearance seemed to frighten a good deal of people.

It's just a snake... She thought distractedly. Snakes are not scary at all to her, rodents on the other hand...Sophia shivered at the thought.

"Thank you, Miss Cooper, and next..." The teacher, unaffected as always, proceeded down the list. A few more introductions later, it was finally Sophia's turn.

With natural grace, the Brit stood up to her full height, her commanding aura speaking volumes before she even began. "Nice to meet you all," she looked around briefly with a practiced smile, "I'm Sophia Long Augustus, and this..." With a thin haze of smoke, an adorable kitten like Animus appeared in her arms. White furred, it looked around curiously with molten gold eyes. Several 'awww' went off immediately. "is Silver Blizzard, or just Bliz."

*Ummm hope you don't mind me *

The soft knocking on the class door pulled the teachers attention to it before she called out for the person to come in. Walking in Luca felt like she was going to die of so many people staring at her. Walking meekly over to the teacher she whisper that she was new and that she didn't know if this was the right class or not.

Waiting for the teacher to reply she looked around the room her strange mixture of blue green eyes taking in the girls before smiling when the teacher told her where her room was walking out of the door she left the room.
